A pennant of blue enamel with a red cross and a white five-pointed star at the center, hung from a metal bar with a twisted-rope edge. That is the burgee the New York Yacht Club adopted in June 1845. No maker’s mark can be read in the photographs, and the back has not been photographed, so the jeweler, the metal, and the date of this pin are open.
